Blackburn Follies (Mobile DJ & Karaoke Service) was established in 1990 in Southern California (San Diego). Blackburn Follies (Mobile DJ & Karaoke Service) sole purpose is high quality entertainment at a competitive rate. We specialize in a vast array of musical entertainment for functions from smaller private birthdays to smaller business and/or larger more complicated corporate gatherings, making the party a hit for ages !!!
Jerry M. Blackburn
Jerry, after a career in the Aerospace Industry, decided to go into entertainment full time. With a background in computer science and electronics you can be assured that your sound system will be second to none. In the early years Jerry also had a career as a model, dancer and musician. He then had his own internet radio station KIRS know as internet personality Hair E. Jerry.
Doc Schroeder
Doc was a radio personal for the Canadian Forces Network in Brunssum Netherlands. He was also a volunteer radio personality for Rock 100.5 the KATT in Oklahoma City. Doc is one of San Diego's most loved emcees and isn't afraid of leading the crowd in the Cha Cha Slide, YMCA and other party dances.
Christian Newcomer
A master mind in Computer Science and Electronics is Blackburn Follies Software Engineer (and part time dj/kj). JUF (Jerry Universal Find) and IJUF (Internet Jerry Universal Find) are just a few of his master pieces he's done for the company. His software has never crashed!!! (Software not available to the Public)
Mark Hammond
Mark, a singer and guitar player has a degree in audio engineering.
Lynnie M. Esteves
A California native, Lynnie has hosted karaoke shows for the last 10 years and has recently joined the Blackburn Follies Team (2007). She is one of San Diego's favorite hosts and we our glad to have her aboard.
